Google Photos 2 SmugMug ("GP2SM", "the Service") is operated by Glen Fiebich. By using this Service, you agree to these Terms.
GP2SM transfers photos you select from your Google Photos library to your SmugMug account. The Service acts as an intermediary — it downloads photos from Google on your behalf and uploads them to SmugMug. No photos are stored on our servers.
To use GP2SM, you must have both a Google account and a SmugMug account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of both accounts. You authorize GP2SM to access your Google Photos (read-only, limited to photos you select) and your SmugMug account (to upload photos and create galleries) on your behalf.
You may revoke GP2SM's access at any time through your Google account permissions or SmugMug account settings.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: transferring your own photos between your own accounts. You may not:
The free tier includes 50 photo transfers per calendar month. Paid passes provide higher limits as described on the pricing page. Usage limits reset on the first day of each calendar month for the free tier. Paid passes expire after their stated duration.
We reserve the right to modify usage limits, pricing, and plan availability at any time with reasonable notice.
GP2SM does not store your photos. Photos are streamed from Google Photos to SmugMug during the transfer process and are not retained on our servers afterward. For full details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.
GP2SM is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service depends on third-party APIs from Google and SmugMug, which may change or become unavailable outside our control.
We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time, with reasonable notice when possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GP2SM and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of photos, data, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You retain all rights to your photos. By using the Service, you grant GP2SM a limited, temporary license to access and transfer your photos solely for the purpose of completing the transfer you initiate. This license expires immediately upon completion of each transfer.
GP2SM integrates with Google Photos and SmugMug. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. GP2SM is not responsible for changes to or issues with third-party services.
You may delete your GP2SM account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page within the app. Photos already transferred to SmugMug will not be affected by account deletion.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
